Since 1992 manifold contributions to safety in mountaineering: Development of risk management strategies "Stop or Go" (1999, together with Robert Purtscheller) and "Partnercheck"(1997). Founder and chief editor of "bergundsteigen - Zeitschrift für Risikomanagement im Bergsport" for many years, author of the classical book "Seiltechnik" (with Heinz Zak) and numerous specialized contributions to safety in mountaineerung. Leader of the governmental instructor formation for skimountaineering, alpine tours and alpine climbing.
